One+One: Filmmakers Journal has got its hands on a couple of awesome Jean-Luc Godard themed tote bags, courtesy of the IFC Center in New York. Made exclusively for the IFC on 6th avenue, each bag features scenes from 15 of Godard’s films, including À Bout de Souffle (Breathless), Masculin Feminin, Alphaville, Weekend, Une femme est une femme (A woman is a woman) and a portrait of the man himself. In a world of mediocre tote bags, this is the tote bag à part.
If you’d like to win one of these, head over to our Facebook page: ‘like’ the picture of the Godard bag and your name will be included in the draw. ‘Share’ the picture to double your chances! The draw will take place in 7 days’ time, on 18th September at 5pm.
To find out more about the IFC Center in NYC, which screens a consistently excellent selection of documentaries, independent films and off-beat foreign films and which has featured here before in my posts on Ai Weiwei and Queer|Art|Film, head on over to their website and check them out if you’re ever around Greenwich Village.
Bonne chance!
